About me
I’m a forest and fire ecologist with a heavy data science slant.
As an applied Bayesian statistician, I’m deepening my machine learning expertise to better leverage remote sensing data. With a focus on monitoring forest and fire activity and improving fuel estimates, I’m honing the fundamentals of ML to apply them effectively in real-world, data-rich contexts.
Open to opportunities
I’m open to collaborations, consulting, or roles using Bayesian methods, ML, and satellite data to advance understanding of forest and wildfire dynamics.
